FINANCE DIRECTOR JOINS WVGOP
CHARLESTON, W.VA. – Charissa Parsons, former finance director to Congressman David McKinley, has been retained by the West Virginia Republican Party as its Finance Director.
“We are very pleased to announce that Charissa Parsons has joined us as we continue to build the West Virginia Republican Party," said Mike Stuart, Chairman of the West Virginia Republican Party. “As an experienced finance director, Charissa is a great addition to our team.”
Charissa Parsons was the finance director for Congressman David McKinley’s successful campaign in 2010 and worked on the McCain/Palin Presidential campaign in 2008. Charissa resides in Morgantown with her husband, Richie Parsons, District Director for Congressman David McKinley.
“West Virginia is in the midst of a resurgence of the Republican Party. Being experienced in the challenges of party fundraising, Charissa has seen first hand the benefits of a well-planned financing effort. We will benefit from her experience and she will help us realize major Republican gains over the coming years,” said Stuart.
“Charissa’s experience and tenacity are great assets for our party and to me in my effort to continue building the foundation of the Republican Party in West Virginia. We intend to have the candidates and the financing to be competitive in the election for Governor this year and ballot-wide in 2012," concluded Stuart. “We are building a team capable of realizing our opportunities and Charissa Parsons is another step in that direction.”
