Stuart Encourages Citizens To Send Cards, Well Wishes To Former Governor

CHARLESTON, WV – Former Governor Arch Moore will celebrate his 88th birthday on Saturday, April 16. The former Governor is the only person in the history of West Virginia to serve three terms.

“Governor Arch Moore is a beloved figure to all West Virginians," said Mike Stuart, Chairman of the West Virginia Republican Party. “Governor Moore was a remarkable leader, an historic figure, and was directly responsible for some of the greatest periods of growth in the history of West Virginia. Governor Moore’s lifetime achievements are truly legendary.”

“On behalf of the Republican Party, it is a great honor and distinct pleasure to be able to wish the former Governor a wonderful and memorable “Happy Birthday,” said Stuart. “Governor Moore’s love for the State of West Virginia has been a life long affair. The Republican Party and all West Virginians wish the former Governor many blessings on his birthday with our wish that he enjoy many more.”
